Kantha Amulet Bags

Sweet little amulet pouches, locally handmade from vintage kantha.

Layer upon layer of patterned cloths stitched carefully by hand, kantha is a traditional embroidered cloth from India. 

Amulet pouches are traditionally used as personal empowerment tools, little wearable bags containing items most spiritually significant and healing to the individual wearer, such as crystals, shells, talismans and herbs.

Pouches measure approx 7 x 8cm, hanging from a soft linen cord measuring approx 80cm long. 

This fabric is vintage, aged and worn with imperfections considered part of it's rustic charm.
