Each rug is hand made, meaning no two are the same. Irregularities are characteristic of the design and process, and are considered a feature of the product.

Handmade by a family owned and run business in Kerala, India which started in the 1940s. This fourth generation family company prides itself on being in "Harmony with Nature" using renewable products such as jute and wool. 

Jute is a long, soft vegetable fibre grown in the Gangetic Delta. It is renewable, bio-degradable and environment friendly. The plants are harvested annually by hand and the fibre is extracted from the bark of the plant after a soaking process.
