Recycling silk wedding saris is a cottage industry run by women in villages around Bangalore, India. The silk reveals irregular widths, with sewn and knotted joins and frayed edges adding to its unique, organic charm. 

Choose from two widths:

Wide : measures approx 7.5cm wide (2.95 inches) comes to you in its rustic, crinkled state but could be ironed if you're looking for something more formal.

Available in 3metre, 2.5metre & 2metre lengths presented on cardboard bobbin.

Narrow: measures approx 1cm wide in crinkled, folded state.

Available in 10metre & 5metre lengths presented on cardboard bobbin. Or choose 5metres on an old-school wooden bobbin, for a charming display piece. Wooden bobbin measures 6cm tall x 4cm diameter.

CAUTION: Colour may bleed from this ribbon if it is exposed to moisture. Gentle, cold, hand-wash separately, dry in shade.
