Wild Clay Vases
$55.00
Raw and earthy wild clay vessels, locally made with an authentic connection to our landscape.
Aiming to use as few commercial products as possible, and to create pottery true to this place, Ellen Doyle experiments with blending clays foraged from disturbed sites around Castlemaine. She mixes her own glazes with minimal ingredients, mostly wood stove ash and camp fires.
Wheel thrown and organically shaped, fired at stoneware temperatures, these textural vases are beautiful for bunches of nature, or perhaps the perfect vessel for containing studio tools or kitchen utensils.
Choose from the following mid-size vessels:
#1 measures approx 12cm tall x 10cm diameter at opening
#2 measures approx 14cmm tall x 8cm diameter at opening
#3 measures approx 12cm tall x 6.5cm diameter at opening
#4 measures approx 11.5cm tall x 6cm diameter at opening
