About Ange Jeffery

Wiradjuri artist, Ange Jeffery is a mixed media artist with a particular interest in jewellery and body adornment. Growing up on Country in central west NSW, with Wambuul (Macquarie River) had a lasting influence and inspiration in her art practice. With an environmental science background, Ange balances her technical ability with creative pursuits. Her values are represented in her work, a preference for using responsibly sourced materials, including collected and recycled natural and manmade items.  Her work is organic, combining her Culture with contemporary techniques and objects.

Ange is an Artist Member of the Indigenous Art Code, adding her voice to the call for fair and ethical trade with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and transparency in the promotion and sale of artwork.
