A 21st birthday present introduced Christiana Jackson her lifelong passion for aromatherapy. Valerie Ann Worwood’s book, Fragrant Pharmacy, so strongly piqued Christiana’s interest in essential oils she went on to become a qualified aromatherapist.
Growing up in the Australian bush she always held a sense of wonder for the scents of nature and their change with the seasons.
For a long time she made my own products for personal use and for friends and family but always wanted to share them with others. In 2012 she launched The Sweet Beekeeper on Etsy, handcrafting a small organic botanical skincare range.
In 2016 her love of dreaming in aromatic baths, combined with the traditional art of botanical perfumery, led her to establish Mimosa Botanicals.
Using only 100% pure organic or Australian essential oils, her range of nurturing bath salts work on all levels of the mind, body and soul.
With organic botanicals and lovely little extras like Australian organic oats, coconut cream powder, organic fair trade cocoa butter and Australian clays, she creates a simple yet luxurious bathing experience.
From her studio in Castlemaine in rural Victoria, she feels at home to continue foraging and exploring scent, now developing a range of seasonally inspired botanical perfumes.
