Plant Dyed Thread Bobbins

Textural cotton thread, naturally plant dyed by hand in appealing muted tones.

Wound onto bamboo bobbins, this 100% cotton thread is suitable for embroidery, slow stitch and hand-sewn projects.

Dyed by hand using traditional Chinese tie-dye techniques with  natural indigo and plant dyes.

0.8 mm diameter, each skein measures approx. 30 metres, bobbins measure approx 8cm long.

Sold individually, choose from indigo, grey, mustard, pink and ivory.

Handwash in warm water. Dark colours should be washed separately before use, and for a few washes, to release excess colour which may stain other fabrics if left touching them while wet.
